tigawoods
I have a few auxiliary VNET sensors (temp/pressure/gps speed) I've connected to my IQ3 Street dash. I've recently bought and wired in a LINK G4 Fury and was wondering if the VNET sensor data being fed to the dash can be transmitted to the ECU via CAN (The IQ3S is prewired with a pigtail and i believe has an internal termination resistor). I'd rather not have to rewire/replace these vnet sensors, but if there's no communication capability to do this, then I guess I will have to. Reading data on the dash via CAN from the ECU is seems doable, but I'd like the ECU to benefit from some of these Vnet sensors I already have wired in to the dash. Adamw
There is no CAN transmit functionality in the IQ3S, only CAN receive. So it can receive data from the ecu but it cant transmit any data to the ECU. If the pressure sensor is a 3 wire then you could splice into its signal wire and feed that into the ecu. Similarly you could splice into a temp sensor signal wire and feed it into an AN Volt channel. The GPS speed wont be able to be used.
