XDanielX Posted September 30, 2012 Report Share Posted September 30, 2012 Since I blew my VQ37VHR (370z) , im going to do a swap for an built VQ35HR but the problem is that the engine has dual DBW TB and I discovered that Vipec doesnt support more than one.. I was suggested by a well known engine builder too look for a Vipec but I guess he forgot the HR had dual DBW TB . Unless there is a way to make it work ? XDanielX Posted October 1, 2012 Author Report Share Posted October 1, 2012 since im kind of stuck to modify the engine to run dual cable TB. I have another question. The car is getting transforming slowly to a race car, losing the dash component isnt a big deal. I project to install the Vipec V88 with an MXL dash. Me and my previous tuner arent sure about my OEM ABS, if the OEM ECU is needed or not to keep that somewhat usefull ABS activated ? I know there is a ABS module but arent sure if the ECU is required. This is my last issue right now . I would prefer to not stay with Uprev on the oem ECU. since my budget doesnt allow me to get that Motec and required hardware !
