Just installed a plugin unit into my GTiR MY90 I have hooked up the Vipec and managed to get the car running, but I have an issue with the Fans not turning on at any temp or even manual toggling the AUX 1 output from the VTS. The only symptom It seems is if I toggle the Engine Fan output Signal on, the Cat Temp Light on the instrument cluster lights up instead of toggling the Fan relay. (that is consistent and repeatable) I have 12 volts to the the Fan relay which has tested good and continuity all the way back to the ECU on Pin 9 (Which is the listed AUX 1 Output on the Vipec install software). Simon Posted January 16, 2014 Report Share Posted January 16, 2014 You might have the jumpers incorrect on the bottom board. Set them up to be in the 94-02 positions This will have aux 1 on pin 9. Pinney Posted January 16, 2014 Author Report Share Posted January 16, 2014 Hi Simon, That fixed it. Just shows you never assume anything, this is a MY90 Gtir but needs the 94-02 jumper settings.
