infini iv Posted July 18, 2013 Report Share Posted July 18, 2013 Hi all, new to the link having previously used remapped factory ECU's. i have purchased a evo plug in G3 ECU that has been upgraded to a G4, im being told by the seller (havnt received it yet) that it will come with no map. Is there a 'base map' available to load to the ECU so the vehicle can be started I had contacted simon at link to ask about G3 upgrade to G4 as opposed to going straight to a G4 plug in and he mentioned some level of complexity due to pin configurations or something??? any advice or info appreciated Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Simon Posted July 18, 2013 Report Share Posted July 18, 2013 You will need to configure then inputs and outputs as per the G3 manual. You can then load the fuel and ignition numbers from a G4 base map. You can do this by exporting the tables in a G4 file. And then importing when online with the ECU.
