Martin Posted July 3, 2007 Report Share Posted July 3, 2007 Guys, I have had my car for over 5 years and when I bought the car it was very quick (for me) 285bhp but last year I put the car off the road for a year and ever since, it has lost some serious power. When pressing the pedal, it takes approx 3 seconds to respond? Not a mechanic and have no idea where to start? Any suggestions? Cheers... ashesman Posted July 3, 2007 Report Share Posted July 3, 2007 Why did you take it off the road? Did you have engine/wiring apart? Sounds to me like the MAP sensor wiring is not correct. Or if it does not have a Link ECU fitted, then maybe the AFM signal. Could also be the TPS... Hmmm, maybe best to get it to an engine tuner and have it looked at...
