William Igyarto
I just purchased a 2000 Impreza Sportswagon 20K and I would like to know if Link offers a plugin ECU that is compatible. The chassis # is GGA-003090.
ashesman
Chances are we will have something to do the job but are a bit unfamilia with that vehicle model. Best bet is to talk to someone in the know about WRX/STi's and get them to tell you what engine/ECU is used. We offer a plug in solution for all WRX/STi models from V1 to V9... William Igyarto
Sorry, it is an EJ207 and the ecu is AF471.
ashesman
Sorry, I still cant determine if our ECU's will suit based on the chasis number or ECU number. The only way is to talk to someone who has wiring information for your vehicle and determine if it matches the WRX/STi. If you could provided the ECU pinout I could check for you. Also, a picture of the ECU header would help to determine what typ of ECU we would use. William Igyarto
Impreza WRX US WRXs af411, af420, af421, af422, af423, af424 - 2001/2002 aj030, aj031, aj040, aj041, ah791 - 2003/2004 EU WRX ae801, ae801, ae802 - 1999/2000 af530, af531, ah750 - 2001/2003 Japanese WRXs af470, af471 - 2001/2002 ae480, ae481 - WRX Type 5/6 RA ae490/491 - 1999/2000 WRX Other WRXs ah570 af720 af730 I cut this from another website. It shows af471 as a MY2001/2002 Japanese WRX computer which is what I basically have, just a wagon. I have looked around and everything I see shows the wagon to be the same as the WRX. ashesman
Ahhhh, now we are talking... These vehicles are not all that rare in NZ! We would know it as a 'bug eye wagon!!!'. The motor may have AVCS (variablke cam timing). Your ECU has the same header as our WRXLink ECU. The WRXLink G3 is a direct plug in replacement and does both STi and WRX models including AVCS engines. Sorry I had so much trouble working out what your vehicle required, we do not normally work off chasis numbers or ECU numbers. Anyways, contact a Link dealer for a price for this ECU. A new shipment of WRXLink G3 ECU's has just arrived. There are some cheaper wire-in ECU options, but none as good as the WRXLink G3.
