kyriacos
hi, i have a nissan silvia s15 with the sr20de non turbo. i turbocharged the car and until now i was running an e-manage ultimate. recently i replaced the ultimate with the link g4 plug in. my car now does not start. shouldn't i been able to see rpm's even with just cranking? the g4 is for an sr20det which uses coil on plug in opposed to mine being with distributor. any ideas? martin battye
i would say more than likely you have your triggers set incorrectly.. you must find how many teeth there are in the engine speed pickup firstly. and the type of sensor.. it may be advantageous to disassemble the dizzy unit to find out the trigger number and type. Kieran
Have you changed the Ignition Mode to Distributor? Have you performed a 'Test ECCS sync'?
Simon
You will have to check all the basic set up. as Kieran mentions above. Getting the Test ECCS sorted and then setting up the base timing is critical.
