Guest |122|
Ray, We are finishing up this 07 S2000 V88, but had a question on the alternator wiring. How would you wire this correctly?

Guest |56|
I think that's the stock ECU (called ECM).
rayhall
I think that's the stock ECU (called ECM). I did not see the ECM label This is what I think the abbreviations stand for. EDL = Electrical load signal. This can be connected to an Analog input. ALTC = Alternator control. Connect to a Aux output SEFMJ = Alternator charge light. Connect to a Aux output ALTF = ? ALTL = ? Guest |56|
Seems you're spot on Ray. From a search on the web, but this relates to a 2006 Civic. 23 ORN ELD (ELECTRICAL LOAD DETECTOR (ELD)) Detects ELD signal With ignition switch ON (II): about 0.1-4.8 V (depending on electrical load) 41 WHT/GRN ALTC (ALTERNATOR CONTROL) Sends alternator control signal With fully warmed up engine running: 5.0 V (depending on electrical load) 42 WHT/BLU ALTL (ALTERNATOR L SIGNAL) Detects alternator L signal With ignition switch ON (II): about 0 V / With engine running: battery voltage 43 WHT/RED ALTF (ALTERNATOR FR SIGNAL) Detects alternator FR signal With engine running: about 2.6-3.4 V (depending on electrical load)
