jono smith
hey, i have an extreme with displaylink in my toyota soarer. completley replaced the dash with the display link. i was wondering if i could put the signal from the factory level sender in the tank into a digital input on the ecu that the display could show a reading for? if so how could i wire it? Kelly Gordon
The fuel pressure sender is just an 5V analog input. If you wired it into the ECU all you would have to do is get the scaling right. Treat it just like any other 5V analong input in regards to wiring and scaling. jono smith
Its 2 wires so would I just do 5v in and have the second wire go to sensor input on ecu then?

jono smith
And I'm talking about fuel level in the tank, not fuel pressure.
Simon
If its a two wire unit it will be a variable resistance much like a temp sensor so could be wired as you would for a temp sensor into an analogue input using an external pull up resistor.
