Guest Marcel B
Well today I finally passed a mile stone I got to a point in my install where I was able to power up the ECU and do a bit of configuring . One of the main problems I encountered was the setting of the injector outputs .I plan on using the SEQUENTIAL / STAGED mode , having two primary injectors (1&2) and four secondarys (5-8) .For outputs 1-4 I have no access , I cannot get in to select injection or anything else , and for 5-8 when I select injection , it switched back to "not selected" on its own :!: Also , what kind of sensor should I select for the IAT ? When the standard bosch was selected it read -20 deg on a 35 deg day , I went through the whole list and selected the one that seemed the most likely as it read 20 deg , but of course I am not sure it is correct . ray can you help ? rayhall
Marcel, I will email you a base map from the Series 6 RX7 with staged injectors, to look at. This is from a tuned car. It had 500cc primary and 1600cc secondary. Select a table as the sensor type, and fill out the table like this. Also if you have not upgraded to firmware version 4.2.0 then do this. Ray. That's what set in my v88. yep , thats the one I selected , but it reads 10 degrees less than the ECT sensor which is reading air temp right now (now water in the motor yet).
