Guest |166|
i just got and insalled my Vi-PEC plug-in board for my 96 VIR 2 WRX. it was setup for the stock injectors, with the stock dead time settings. i was maxing out the injectors at only 12PSI of boost. so i go some larger injectors. to set the new injectors up is correcting the dead time all that i have to do? old JDM 440cc 3.490,2.810,2.273,1.864,1.563,1.360,1.209,1.101,1.000,0.940 new USDM STI 550cc 3.651,2.971,2.434,2.025,1.724,1.521,1.370,1.262,1.161,1.101 will i have to change every cell in my fuel map or will it scale it down for me? -=Suberdave=- www.suberdave.com
Guest |166|
well since no one had an answer i just did it. they work awesome... i installed the new injectors and changed the dead time to times i found posted on the internet. and they work better than the old ones. cold startup was better and they only hit 85% DC on WOT 3rd gear pull to 7000rpm. thanks, im sure i will have other questions... -=Suberdave=-

Have fun at SEMA... i just got the plug-in ECU from BOB at Drift Office, im sure you will see him at SEMA. we still have some tuneing to do on my car. he set it up with a solid tune but is off to the show this next week. when he gets back we will be doing some more tuneing. i had to get a good Elec. boost controler. and some larger injectors. thanks for an awesome product and your support. -=Suberdave=-
