Guest |193|
On the advice of the local dyno tuning shop they have fitted a vipec v88 to my racecar, and now with the computer wired and fitted to the car they are telling me that the computer will not control the camshafts and electronic throttle at the same time. Are they spinning me a load of crap or is this really the case??Can someone please help me???
rayhall
The current firmware and software, supports your engine and cam control. The throttle control feature is not released at the moment. It is an option you will pay to turn on when available. If you must have throttle control now, then use the TF Electronics controller. http://www.tfelectronics.com.au/PageFiles/throttlecontrol.html This is what others have been using. Ray. Guest |195|
Is it possible to make the TF electronics electronic throttle controller work with other vehicles that also have drive by wire throttle such as Toyota and Honda? rayhall
Chris, The throttle controller will work on some Honda engines. I would need a Toyota pedal and throttle body to test, to be able to confirm it was compatible.
Guest |195|
Ok, thanks Ray. The Honda application I'm thinking of is a Honda Accord Euro with K series engine. Chris
