Jan Lassen
If I will use a setup with missing tooth and cam sync set to 'sync level' I will need a cam trigger wheel with a 180 deg. tooth . The questions is. 1 how many camshaft deg. should the trigger be high / low 2 where do the trigger have change level, exactly at TDC or with in a crank teeth, or something else.. This setup is for a custom setup with no use of factory triggers / sensors Jan
Dtech Motorsport
question 1 you have answered your self 'I will need a cam trigger wheel with a 180 deg. tooth .' the trigger does not need to change anywhere special the principal of this setup is that the cam level will be high when the missing tooth on the crank is present on one revolution, on the next revolution with the missing tooth present the cam will be low so as long as you have the missing tooth aligned in the middle of the high lobe of the cam trigger you will be ok Regards Dave [email protected]
