David Arthur
hi guys, I'm installing my second Link G4+ into another one of my cars and i was wondering how i wire in a fan over ride switch for the radiator fan? ECU is a Link G4+ extreme which is set up to run the radiator fan. engine is a 1JZ (very surprised to see there was no base map for such a popular engine).  i searched as best i could so sorry if this has been covered before but all i want to do is have a switch so i can turn the fan on manually even if the computer doesn't deem it nesesary. i looked through the digital input table and didn't see anything that looked like it could do the job.  help.  thanks in advance, sheepers.
Simon
Just connect the switch between ground and the aux out of the ECU. The ECU will not mind if the signal is pulled to ground even when its not wanting the fan to run.
David Arthur
thanks for that. TBH it makes no sense to me but thats not surprising, im useless when it comes to understanding how electrickery works. connecting wires to the right place i can do but thats about where i stop. ill tell my mate who's an auto sparky what you suggest and im sure it will be clear to him.  thanks again, sheepers.
