Guest |245|
Here's my S14 learn-as-it-goes-along project. My first modified car, done as much as possible myself, except exterior paint, alu welding and some ECU adjustments to get her running. There are many pictures, I'm known for them. Have a project thread with in excess of 4000 pictures on the norwegian 200sx community. Will be glad to help, if anyone is wondering about some s14 related stuff Now that she is running, I've had some time to get familiar with te V44, and i must say i like it a lot. Still having some cold start issues, but a bit of adjustments to the crank fuel enrichment will probably sort this out. Have just started reading on this forum, and found that there is some sort of amplifier available, to make the v44 able to compensate for knock. Heard that Ray was selling this, maybe he could chime in with some info on this? bsh
Looks good! What hp are you aiming for? Keep up the good work:)
Guest |245|
Thanks! Will take anything I get. The main restrictions are the turbocharger and the injectors, and possibly the 2,5bar internal map sensor. Since it's my first turbocharged car, and I've driven her a total of 750km I'm gonna be pleased anyways, but 400 atw. would be very nice. I've promised the tuning work to EF Motor, but guessing it'll be your dynapack? What's your view on screamer pipes in the new garage? bsh
400 whp are nice in a rwd:) I have 7 bar mapsensors in stock. Now the V44 are available with 7 bar internal as an option:) Yes it will be on my Dynapack. I try to stay clear of screamer pipe, but it is ok as long as we can put a long pipe on it an connect to the exhaust extraction system
