justin1436215418
I have tried repeatedly to get my pc's to recognize the usb cable on a G4 box to no avail. I have tried on both W7 32 and 64bit, multiple usb ports, etc. My pc is not even showing the cable under device manager(ports). Nothing is there. I have a customer car sitting here on the dyno. Any ideas? Justin
Simon
Is this on a wire in or a plug in ECU? Check all cable are connected to the correct ports. On the plug in the cable might have been swapped to the CAN port to allow connection to a dash.
Simon
Being a wire in ECU the cables internally should be ok. IT would only be the USB chip in the ECU or the cable. I think it would be best to contact Engine Logics in Texas as they are the US distributor. They can get you another cable, I think it will be worth sending the ECU to them to try on the bench as it could be the ECU usb chip playing up the cables don't usually give a problem.
