Guest |252|
I am working on getting the V44 setup for our Honda CBR600F4i sportsbike engine for our student project race car. The crank angle sensor has 12 teeth and the cam angle sensor has 3 teeth (see attached picture). From my understanding, the cam sensor is used as the sync pulse and should pulse once per 2 crankshaft revolutions at TDC. Is there any way to setup the ECU for the 3 toothed cam sensor? It would be nice to avoid having to cut off 2 teeth. Thanks, Brian
rayhall
Brian, At the moment you will need to remove the other two teeth. It is posible to get this pattern added, but this would not happen quickly as there are other features that have priority.
Guest |252|
Excellent. Would it be possible to get this feature added to list? It will be handy to have for next years car build to avoid any slight cam unbalancing. Thanks, Brian
