Guest |99|
I recently downloaded a new file that I had been working on off-line to the ECU. When the file was loaded a warning error came up to say that the ignition timing was outside the maximum limit that I had set (this is a good thing). However, it completely slowed the system ie minutes between key strokes and it would not let me access any of the drop down menus or the various options tables on the left of the screen. Eventually, after about an hour I was able to open a default cal file and get it down loaded to the ECU. I then changed the maximum timing limit and reloaded the orginal file and all was OK. It may be worthwhile investigating or it could just be my laptop!!
rayhall
Tinker, There may be a bug in the software. Have not had this reported before. If it happens again, can close the software and then send me the Log0.log and Log1.log files in the Vipec -> VTS folder.
