rayhall
I have experienced this myself on one PC. We are trying to find a solution at the moment. To communicate for now..you can connect using a serial cable. If you laptop does not have serial port, use a USB adaptor. The USB cable can be converted to serial by removing the USB plug and adding a 9 pin serial connector. I will post information on how to do this if you want it. You can also ask Cam for a serial cable. Ray.
Guest |280|
Thankyou for the quick reply, and thanks to Cam for his help too! I had to install service pack 3 "SP3" through windows update. apparently the glitch came from SP2! USB works great now....time to go drive  & Thanks Microsoft for all that you do to make our computers worse!
