What about an "overtake boost" feature for the trackies Ray?

The Vi-pec has a lot of features for the drag racers like launch controller, flat shift, antilag etc etc. How about something for the regular track racers Ray?

Has it got features to program an overtake boost button for track racers?

For example if all parameters are safe, the car can have a brief moment of higher boost for over take. This overtake boost stops when the allowable overboost time runs out or if the required safety parameter(s) is reached.

If it has not, is there any chance of making it in the later firmware Ray?

yes it does have this feature...you can have two boost tables and activate the "high boost" table with a di switch.

You can setup a "push to pass" button that increases the boost now. Example..this could be made to turn off when EGT was getting too high.

Connect the push to pass button to a digital input.

Select a Aux output as GP Output and select the conditions as 1 and 2

Set condition 1 as Digital Value 1 = On and the value to the value to the button digital input number.

Set condition 2 as AN Volt < Value and set the value to match the EGT that you want the boost to drop.

Select multiple boost tables and set the activation to a Aux output you have setup.

What will be in the next firmware is a pit lane speed limit function.

Ray.

That's exactly the function I am after Ray. Thanks.

I have a couple of mates with Porches and they are all raving about their "overboost/boost to pass" buttons in their new 911.

Just want to shut them up with some real boost
