Guest Anonymous
Hello , I am looking forward to installing a vipec v44 ecu on my vehicle and since having read the manual and played around with the software i have some questions concerning the trigger wheel configuration. My 4 cyl engine runs wasted spark ignition and has crankshaft trigger wheel with a magnet type sensor (2 cable). The trigger wheel has 32 teeth and one bigger tooth alligned with the first cyl piston top end when facing the sensor. attached is an image of the trigger wheel , If you could tell me how this trigger wheel should be configured in the software trigger menu i would be gratefull. Thanks !!
rayhall
I must say that trigger wheel and timing belt sprocket, look like Toyota. If it is a Toyota then it should be 36-2 teeth. Either way, this setup is Select Multitooth/Missing Missing teeth = 2 Tooth count = 34 (or 36 ?) Sync Pulse = No Injector Mode = Multi-point Group Active Drives = 1 & 2 Ignition Mode = Wasted Spark Ray.
Guest Anonymous
Great fast answer , thanks ! indeed its a toyota But why injector Active Drives = 1 & 2 ? I mean V44 has 4 injector drives and im planning on using all of them.
