Ryan v8bmwdrift Posted September 13, 2010 Report Share Posted September 13, 2010 hi there i m having problems getting spark ,its a distburter style set up and i can get spark if i put the ignition on test so im gessing its something to do with the triggers ,ino im getting trigger signal but no idea if there in the right timing ?? .trigger 1 should be firing trigger? .trigger to should b tdc trigger? cheers ryan Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Jurgen Biggelaar Posted September 16, 2010 Report Share Posted September 16, 2010 Hi Ryan. Trig1 is your Crank trigger (4 teeth on that engine) and Trig2 is your cam pulse (2 teeth different widths). Select the EVO1-6 trigger pattern in the software and you should be home and hosed. This is all assuming you have done the base timing calibration and confirmed your offset with TDC on #1. If you haven't, you really need to do some reading of the manual and/or PCLink help files.
