Guest Dave-Kriedeman Posted May 3, 2009 Report Share Posted May 3, 2009 I have just installed and carried out a new engine run in tune on an R32 GTR fitted with a CRD full house RB26 using a T88. The software set up procedure, regarding triggers etc were both quick and painless. From initial set up to engine running and idling with timing check confirmed took approx 10 mins. There is nothing as satisfying as having a new set up start up and be ready for tuning with in minutes of its first start. Just need the owner to run the engine in, Then the final full tune fun begins 10 000 - 11 000 rpm with 35 -40 psi of boost. Wild stuff. Guest Dave-Kriedeman Posted May 3, 2009 Report Share Posted May 3, 2009 Hi Jim, if you are familiar with the ViPEC Software and carry out all of the VERY WELL documented step by step SET UP PROCEDURES in the PNP Manual you would have received with your ECU, you will have no problems.
