Boost vs TPS.

This is a feature i requested a long time ago that i am still (patiently) waiting for.

I just (for fun) browsed through the featurelist for plug in ecus and whatdoyouknow, boost control referenced to TPS is listed

http://www.linkecu.com/EVO3Plus

Thats not right i thought and checked my software, and right, its not there.

Checked the featurelist on the wirein`s and its not in the list.

Now i know it is in the works, but it better be out pretty soon now that you are advertising products with a feature thats not really there.

Hi Steve,

not sure what you are exactly asking here as Boost control, via TPS has been a function for years.

You just need to set the Y axis to TPS.

But if you are referring to something else please explain.

What i want is a boost TRIM table based on TPS in the same way as we have trimtable based on gears

Edit. Messing around with it today i think i figured out a way to make it do what i want without compromising my other requirements (got a few that i cant live without). Testing will show if it works as i think it will. If so, all is good.

Hi Steve,

the statement boost referenced to TPS by LINK is TRUE.

Just not how you would like it.

I fully understand now, you want it as a TRIMMING INPUT not an actual X or Y AXIS Referenced input.

This will be forwarded to the engineers for review.

I will ask Simon to have a look for you.

Regards

Dave.

Did some testing with flying collours.

I am using cloosed loop control and i had my target boost Y-axis set up for something else originaly. But rearanging some stuff i was able to pull everything together. Here is a pic of how i set it if anyone cares. (The WG DC 1 and Boost Target 1 tables on top)
