JohnRambo
Hi Can a G4 gtslink use the stock knock sensors? I've had a look through the wiring diagram and pin outs and there is nothing for them so I'm assuming no thanks
race jase
All Links plug and play units use the stock sensors , you should be able to install the GTS link do a throttle and map reset then the car will start and idle if its all stock.Jase
Scott
Hi JohnRambo,Can you tell me your ECU serial number and which topboard version you have? You can find this out in PCLink by connecting to the ECU, clicking Help > ECU Information and looking at the ECU Type.
Scott
Hi again John,Thanks for messaging me the ECU details. Your top-board is a Storm top-board, which does not have support for internal knock control. It can only do knock control with an external KnockBlock module. JohnRambo
Great just needed your confirmation. My rb had no knock sensors and was resistor'd out, so I'm just going to remove them now.
