Guest |411|
Hi Ray, sorry but I don't know why it is not applicable to my case. As I have stated in my ealier comment, I belive that I had covered the steps for cleaing erros 100% (clear all the errors in the ECU memory and in the PC memory). So I don't think I was confused by such remaining past errors . Honestly, the clearing alarms steps did not help for my case. Only way I have found so far was pressing the pageup or pagedown keys until you see figures with blue back ground. And this stoped regular error alams for my case. My hardware could be faulty? or file is damaged or not properly configured......?
rayhall
Email me the map in the ECU. [email protected] Ray.

Guest |56|
Hmmm.... maybe this is a simple problem, so worth asking this, Ume34, when you where making the change to 5.00 volts and 0.00 volts, did you hit the 'enter' key after typing in the new values? When making changes by typing in the figures you must hit the 'enter' key to lock in the new figure. Using page up or down locks the changes without the use of the 'enter' key. A change is locked in when the background turns blue.

rayhall
You need to change the Vipec USB driver to COM 9 or lower. Using COM 10 or higher will cause the firmware update to disconnect, which gives this error next time you try to do the update. Ray.
Guest |249|
that worked, now ive got a whole lot of other issues. The car wont run properly. its running REALLY rough and a whole lot of 'value out of bounds' pops up which i chose 'not used' or 'Value 1' as i didnt know what they were. ECT is showing at 194 degrees! i dont know what to do to fix these issues.

Guest |249|
Thanks for that, but what if i dont know the error voltages at all? i cleaned some up and the car seems to be running smoother but these errors are not right! i've got a whole bunch of errors which are doing my head in: [8] Fault Code 12 - An V1 signal error [8] Fault Code 11 - An V1 below Error Low value [8] Fault Code 10 - An V1 above Error High value [8] Fault Code 53 - An T4 below Error Low value [8] Fault Code 52 - An T4 above Error High value [8] Fault Code 51 - An T3 signal error [8] Fault Code 50 - An T3 below Error Low value [8] Fault Code 49 - An T3 above Error High value [8] Fault Code 48 - An T2 signal error [8] Fault Code 47 - An T2 below Error Low value [8] Fault Code 46 - An T2 above Error High value [8] Fault Code 45 - An T1 signal error [8] Fault Code 44 - An T1 below Error Low value [8] Fault Code 43 - An T1 above Error High value [8] Fault Code 42 - An V11 signal error [8] Fault Code 41 - An V11 below Error Low value [8] Fault Code 40 - An V11 above Error High value [8] Fault Code 38 - An V10 below Error Low value [8] Fault Code 37 - An V10 above Error High value [8] Fault Code 36 - An V9 signal error [8] Fault Code 35 - An V9 below Error Low value [8] Fault Code 34 - An V9 above Error High value [8] Fault Code 33 - An V8 signal error [8] Fault Code 32 - An V8 below Error Low value [8] Fault Code 31 - An V8 above Error High value [8] Fault Code 30 - An V7 signal error [8] Fault Code 29 - An V7 below Error Low value [8] Fault Code 28 - An V7 above Error High value [8] Fault Code 27 - An V6 signal error [8] Fault Code 26 - An V6 below Error Low value [8] Fault Code 25 - An V6 above Error High value [8] Fault Code 23 - An V5 below Error Low value [8] Fault Code 22 - An V5 above Error High value [8] Fault Code 21 - An V4 signal error [8] Fault Code 20 - An V4 below Error Low value [8] Fault Code 19 - An V4 above Error High value [8] Fault Code 18 - An V3 signal error [8] Fault Code 17 - An V3 below Error Low value [8] Fault Code 16 - An V3 above Error High value [8] Fault Code 15 - An V2 signal error [8] Fault Code 14 - An V2 below Error Low value [8] Fault Code 13 - An V2 above Error High value
Guest |164|
This has been said here before!!!!! All you have to do is change all the max error values to 5.00 volts then press enter. Change all the min error values to 0.00 volts and press enter, this will turn the error codes off. Press F4 to save to the ECU then clear the fault codes and clear the PC log. After you get the engine running with no faults you can set the max, min and error values one at a time. It can take a while to set up, but is worth doing just in case a sensor does go down! Your engine is more than likely running poor due to an error value being way off! Do the above and all will fine?

rayhall
If you look at the very first post on this thread, I show the steps to clear the errors. Follow these steps exactly and the errors will be gone. http://www.vi-pec.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=
rayhall
I am going to make this sticky, as people are not looking at the information I provided to clear the errors. Ray.
Guest |249|
Im guilty as charged. I could've sworn that I read that post 5 times and did not take notice to those 2 lines that explain it. Maybe try putting them in big red bold writing to emphasize their importance. Sorry guys!
