Link Thunder Knock Control cylinder to sensor allocation?

Hi,

Link Thunder has two internal Knock channels.

But I can not find any settings for allocate the specific cylinders to a specific sensor.

For example, on 5-cylinder inline engines, there are 2 knock sensors.

Knock sensor 1 for cylinder 1,2,3 and Knock sensor 2 for cylinder 4,5.

How can I set this up in PCLink?

How does PCLink knows, which knock sensor is allocated to which cylinders? (also interesting for 6 and 8 cylinder V engines)

regards

The ECU combines the two signals to give and overall signal. It does not assign one sensor to a group of cylinders.

The cylinder timing is done through the settings in the knock control and the engine position information from the trigger inputs.
