Melv Posted April 4, 2016 Report Share Posted April 4, 2016 hi i have a Vipec Plugin V44 based ECU for a VR4 Galant.was looking for the digital knock interface, but as you all know it is no longer produced, same as the original link Knock block which appeared to be identical other than stickers.Looking for an alternative for permanent installation to use the knock controls of the ECU. i'm not sure the new Knock block or Knock link would be equivalent to the older stuff. any other suggestions? Scott Posted April 5, 2016 Report Share Posted April 5, 2016 Hi Melv,Correct, the Vi-PEC Knock amplifier is the same as the Link G4 KnockBlock apart from the stickers. The G4+ KnockBlock and G4 KnockLink are tuning tools only, so do not communicate with the ECU. Someone else will likely chime in with their recommendations.
