Matsr
HiI am having trouble with my mac boost valve on my v88.When i connect 12v to the sensor it is almoast like it sends 12v into the selected aux port.It uses aux8 and it is sett to 20hz.Is there any way to wire this wrong? I cant get the valve to switch on. And it seems like it shorts. If i put aux8 in test mode and make run in high mode and then ground the other wire on the sensor it clicks. Scott
Hi, You want to connect one pin of the boost solenoid to an ignition switched +12V, and the other pin of the solenoid to the Aux Output of the ECU. In ECU Setting the Aux Output should be set to 'Boost Solenoid', The boost solenoid will then become active when boost control is active, This is setup under ECU Controls > Boost Control. To test if you have the solenoid wired correctly set the Aux Output channel to 'Test(PWM)', you should here the solenoid ticking away.Scott.
