jonnyt80
Finally got the car started after finding out the timing settings.Am i right in saying that adjusting the master fuel till it starts is the riht way to go as ther is no base map for my engine.I had to use 24ms master fuel for the car to start. Is there anything else i need before i start dialling idle in etc
Brad Burnett
With the traditional fuel equation, yes that is the appropriate process.
Scott
Once you have the engine running try tuning a cell with minimum fuel requirements (low engine speed, low load), and then try and tune a cell with maximum fuel requirements. This will show the range of numbers that you will end up using in the fuel table. If the spread is too narrow (30 to 70) then decrease your master fuel number. If the spread is too wide (you need lower or higher numbers in the fuel table than it allows) increase your master fuel number.Scott.
