2004 STI V10 G4+pnp to Ver 7 ECU with E throttle

Recommended Posts

I have a 2004 USDM STI with a Ver 7 Swap with e-throttle. I have the cam set for rising edge and pull up on. We are using the USDM 04 sti 3 wire cam sensor and crank sensor. When I have the trigger set to V7 and crank it the RPM bounces around and it spits and sputters some times backfiring out the exhuast. Whaen I have it set to EJ257 I don't get anything not even a RPM reading. has any one any had any experience with this?

I think a good starting point will be to see what the trigger pattern your engine is producing looks like. You can use the ECU's Trigger Scope function to see this, access it off ECU Controls > Trigger Scope. Upload the image you get and we'll be able to compare it to some trigger information we have. If either of the lines is flat try switching the pull-up resistor to the other option.

Scott.
