Ken Dunkley
With - Key on pre crank prime . Can you set a certain fuel pressure as a condition - in conjunction with the 2d table . So that fuel pressure has to build before injectors give a squirt . ? If i leave my car for a few days there is no pressure in the fuel rail . jigga009
Curious about this also.. I find that my car never starts the first time after not using it for a prolonged period of time during which time fuel pressure has dissipated... Once I use the car more regularly though, things work like usual.
MagicMike
Doesn't fuel pump prime time take care of your lack of rail pressure?
Ken Dunkley
I have a separate fuel pump switch and a momentary start button . So for me its - key on - fuel pump on then start . But i want the ecu to do a pre crank prime when fuel pressure builds to a defined pressure .
Ken Dunkley
Can anyone help with this - I want fuel pressure to build in the rails so as to get a consistent prime every time ?
ClintBHP
Then wire an AUX out in as a fuel pump relay and use the fuel pump control 'prime time' to do this. you can still keep your switch wired in series this will be the safest method to as the ECU has control and you have override with the switch
