Celica ST205 Wideband install, COP wiring & Boost control

Hi Folks,

Got the G4 plugin on my celica st205 and an Innovate LC1 Wideband. for wiring it in, would it be possible to do the following:

Cut the current wire going from pin 33 (An Volt1) which from the diagram looks to be the oxy sensor and then wire the analogue out on the innovate to this pin? Don't see the need to have both narrow band (Standard) and the wideband.

For wiring in a 3 port boost solenoid;

is it possible to simply wire it in to the wiring for the standard TVSV valve which had the wastegate line previously running to it?

For the COP conversion with 1ZZ coils;

I see the ignition outputs on the ECU pin out have wires already in them, are these ok to remove and replace with wiring for the Coils? If so will the removed pins need re-located to unused ones in the ECU?

Thanks

Ben

Yes, that will be a good option.  Make sure you ground the innovate to the engine block, not battery negative like their manual says.

Yes, aux 3 is connected to the stock wastegate valve, simply connect the new valve in place of the old one.

Ign2 pin was originally labelled EVP1 (maybe evap valve?).  Ign3 pin was originally for EGR.  Ign4 pin was originally labelled VISC (whatever that is).  So you are unlikely to need any of these wires, just de-pin and tape up somewhere.

Got it all setup now and ready to start. This engine previously resided in a MR2 running a Haltech Elite system. It had the trigger Angle set to 385 Degrees. On the link what does this equate to as it goes from -360 to + 360? Wanting to use this as a starting point as it was known to be good.

Thanks

It might not be a direct swap as they might sync from a different point to us.

Best to check it with a light. Turn the fuel off and then crank engine move as required to get timing close.

Get engine running then recheck at 2000rpm
