Purpose of fule/ignition table columns below idle rpm?

Recommended Posts

What is the purpose of columns that are under the motors idle RPM?  Let's say my motor idles at 1800 RPM, do I need fuel and/or (to lesser extent) ignition columns at 0, 500, 750, 1000, 1250, 1500

Seems like a waste and would be better used for more granular control higher up.

Thanks :)

Yes I think you could remove some. Worst case you can always put them back in if required.

In our playing around we actually ran our test engine on 4 cells and it was remarkable how well it worked.
