whittlebeast
Where can I find one?
Sheik
In the Help section of the PC-Link software. You will probably be able to search through it and find any other bits and pieces there too. Extremely well documented (pun intended). whittlebeast
Is there a full but basic diagram say for 4 injectors, 4 logic coils, two hall sensers and the five basic sensors? Looking for the pin number and standard wire color for all the basic IO to get a motor runnong here. I can post samples of what I typicall see if it would help. For example how does the fan control work or fuse sizes.
whittlebeast
I am looking for something remotely similar to this.....
Brad Burnett
everything youre asking for here is in the help file of the software. Only the fuse sizes are not.
whittlebeast
So how do I find the pin that the MAP sensor signal should come on? This is just one example....
augusto
I will try when I am in the company to put other schemes with the ecu vipec in evolution, opel 2.2 16v, evolution 2.3 and other cars. I hope this helps everyone. At the moment I only have Vectra with Autronic. Augusto. pdf_vectra_esquema_eletrico.pdf
whittlebeast
That is the sort of thing I would have expected in the manual for each unique ECU.
Brad Burnett
The map sensor signal can be input to any of the analogue 0-5v inputs.
Sheik
You can use the Pinout Diagram along with the Installer IO Table (also in Help) to determine what can be wired up where. A safe strategy would be to fill in the Installer IO Table with your required sensors/outputs/etc so they are all certain to work. It was something I didnt do with my first build and I ended up chasing my tail a bit. Some things need to be on specific pins (ie. aux 5/6/7/8 for a stepper motor and DI 1-4 for flex sensors, etc)
Paul Simpson
R8 coils with internal igniters with four terminals 1 x Power 1 x signal 1 x earth engine 1 x earth to ecu which ECU ground?
Adamw
On the VAG coils one ground is the high current primary ground, the other is the high voltage secondary ground. Neither should be connected to the ECU. Ground both to the same point on the cylinder head is normal practice for these.
