Luis Lopez Posted March 14, 2019 Report Share Posted March 14, 2019 So I disconnected my o2 sensor since I’m not using it. But when I place the ignition switch on the off position the engine fan kicks on. And if I want to shut it off is either connect the front o2 again or unplug the fan. What could cause this? Adamw Posted March 15, 2019 Report Share Posted March 15, 2019 Circuit below from an Evo 8 manual. The trigger for the fan relay should be off when the ignition is off as it comes from the main ECU main relay. Can you check if you still have power on connector A11X, pin 1 with ignition off.
