  1. Coilpack on head connection issue, resolved
  2. Hi, Bedding in my engine on a bedding in map and everything was going fine, parked up to run a errand and came back to the car running super rough, low idle, stalling. Almost like a huge vac leak but I've checked all intercooler and manifold gaskets. Was wondering if someone could have a look through my logs and possibly give me a pointer as to what the issue could be? https://we.tl/t-J440zUl3lY?utm_campaign=TRN_TDL_05&utm_source=sendgrid&utm_medium=email&trk=TRN_TDL_05
  3. Spoke to engine builder who said there is plenty of lube and can fire the engine up straight away (making sure oil filter fully saturated) Once engine started got healthy oil pressure. So yeh sensor and wiring all good, issue resolved.
  4. Hi, I've swapped in a new engine on my Subaru and I have a Bosch combined sensor in stock oil pressure switch location. I am trying to prime the engine with oil (crank sensor disconnected) The voltage input will not move from 0.5V no matter how much I crank and my ic7 shows 0.00 bar oil pressure When I disconnect the sensor the reading dropped from 0.5v to 0.0v(on pressure sensor pin) and the oil temp dropped to -40. Has the sensor failed? Have I developed a wiring issue or is there no oil pressure detected? Thanks
  5. My Oil Press sensor is using the TI100 scaling for the pressure even though it's a Bosch combined sensor, shall I change it?
  6. VID_20230118_211842.mp4 VID_20230118_211913_1280x720.mp4 Hard to see in the video but the revs are bouncing around ever so slightly even whilst the car is under load
  7. Hi Adam, I'm finding the RPM and Speed to be very jumpy, alongside my oil pressure. Is there anyway to smooth this input to my IC7? Just to confirm which calibration should I be using for a Bosch combined pressure and fuel sensor? I have in the stock Subaru oil hole (no adapter) The pressure and temp hooked up In my Fuel regulator I have just the pressure functionality hooked up. I've included a pic of the sensor. I also have a GM flex fuel sensor(pic also included)
  8. Swap out the mechanic Speedo for a newer 3 pin VSS, it's just ground, 12v and signal. Please make sure you use a deep socket on the mechanical speed sensor. Last time I got impatient with the sensor I ended up wacking it inside the gearbox and had to split open the gearbox to sort it lol
  9. No? Shall I turn the pull up on and recheck? By the way I've beeped out the VSS and there is continuity at the VSS pin at the ECU without the O.E dash connected Edit:I turned the Pull-Up on and all is working now, thank you yet again Adam.
  10. I reconnected the O.E dash alongside the ic7 and the gear detection works but the speed does not, I also configure the inputs to show each wheel speed but nothing changed. Upon disconnecting the dash the gear detection stopped working
  11. Hi, Ive managed to hooked everything up, however the dash only works when I select "Transmit Generic Dash" selecting Dash 2 does not work. The IC7 dash is not picking up the gear I'm in (Haltech said it would pick this if it's configured in ECU) The speed MPH reading is not working on the dash? Any ideas on how to fix this
  12. Is there any functionality of the dash that will not work with the G4X (Limitations) ?
  13. Hi, I have a ic7 can which I want to hook up to my wrx6x ecu, is there any kind of setup instructions for me to follow through on? And how would I go about getting my fuel level to show on the dash?
  14. A little off-topic, I may have to remake my loom due to poor choice of wire. (20awg China wire which was supposed to be tinned copper but seems to be aluminium) my question is, does the link IAT sensor Deutsch connecto use DTM style pins, if so, what pin size does it take?
  15. Hi Adam quick Q, am I correct in understanding that pin orientation does not matter when it come to the boost control solenoid and link IAT sensor?
  16. AN Temp 2 for IAT and AN Temp 3 for the temp sens pin for Bosch combined sensor.
  17. Hi Adam, I am currently in the process of making a loom to connect up some new sensors to my Wrx6x ECU. I have included screenshots of how I've laid the wires, I have 5v connecting from the expansion 2 to all sensors apart from the IAT sensor and flex fuel sensor I have GND on Expansion connected to all sensors. I have DI 5 connecting to flex fuel I have a Bosch combined with 1 output (fuel pressure) going to AN Volt 5 I have IAT connecting to AN Temp 2 I have a Bosch pstf1 2 output (oil pressure and temp connecting to AN Temp 1 and AN Volt 6 I have used 20AWG wire to make the above. From my understanding the above should work, please can you give it a once over to make sure I've got it right? (I've included a drawing to try and illustrate the above to you) Thanks
  18. If I use the factory 2007 knock sensor which was on the 2.5 engine?
  19. Based on this, is it worth me going to a Bosch wideband knock sensor or is the 1 pin style v7 sensor sufficient for knock detection on a 2.5 engine with forged pistons?
  20. Hi, Wondering what is the best way to install this sensor. Do I run a 2 score shield cable back to ECU area and then pin into the expansion connector? I am planning to run ground and power expansion into engine bay for some additional sensors, 2 combined Bosch pressure temp sensors and a link IAT sensor. Please can you advise best install method to get cleanest knock signal
  21. Hi Adam, Please see above convo from Haltech confirming 2 way comm for the WB1. Is your answer above still the same based on this info? Thanks
  22. Hi Adam, Can I not just run my own loom back into the can expansion ? Is there any real benefit other than convenience to get the CANJST and extension? Thanks
