  1. Cheers will do, you are a. Legend thanks for your guidance
  2. Hi Adam swapped the 5v with tps - (as the voltage was showing the in the tps -) now can open and close the throttle body by the accelerator. Have I got it right?
  3. I think I found the problem which is the TB connection plug as I took the TP main out as well as the sub and ran a volt meter and ran 5v circuit no issues. Ordered a new plug and see if that does the trick
  4. Hey Adam, followed your suggestions and changes with no joy. I had the Brandt system taken out but not sure if this would have any bearing on this issue I might hook up the old ecu and see if that works
  5. I can’t figure out where it is grounding, should I replace the throttle body pin adapter to see if that could be the issue?
  6. Hi Adam, no voltage change when moving the blade with e throttle off
  7. A few less codes come up Now have the following wiring format 1. motor (-) black 2. tps (-) black/grey 3. tps (5v) red (volt meter confirmed 5v) 4. motor (+) yellow 5. TPS 2 (out) green 6. tps 1 (out) blue Have I got blue and green wires the wrong way around? Or tps - and tps + 5v the wrong way round? Or both?
  8. I’ll try the reversal of yellow and black and have not checked the ecu yet as the tb doesn’t make any movement or noise. Getting it tested tomorrow
  9. After taking my car to three workshops and still not running I have finally seen the same harness wiring for the throttle body, yes it has been a long time since the last question it has been a long journey. Currently I have the pin out as follows 1. motor (-) yellow (same size wire as motor + so assume negative) 2. tps (-) black/grey 3. tps (5v) red (volt meter confirmed 5v) 4. motor (+) black (voltmeter confirmed 12.8v) 5. TPS 2 (out) green 6. tps 1 (out) blue throttle body still not moving on start up sequence or even with 9v battery test rig. any assistance is greatly appreciated as I don’t want to waste another year working on the same problem without success. many thanks, kim What I believe the wiring for the factory is as follows 6. blue tb main 5. red 5v 4. green tb sub 3 black/grey sensor ground 2. black tb (+) 1. Yellow tb (-) This picture was off a 2007 sti wiring harness for the throttle body.
