Adamw, you are correct. It is a G4+ because it was 2 years ago. So I will read up on this but can you educate me on the configurable CAN bus? Are you saying all the things you mentioned can be updated to the latest firmware? I did want to add a dash too. I believe I have all the I/O I need, fingers crossed. Can a serial number possibly tell to the extent of the upgraded firmware? Thanks for your response Adub!

Hey guys, I haven't been on here in some time but I am at a crossroads and really need some solid advice. I bought a Link G4 ECU about 2 years ago for my build. Since then my build remained stagnant (running on stock ECU) and now I want to go a different direction. When I bought my ECU I bought plug in for a GEN 2(ST 205) 3SGTE. Now I want to go to a GEN 5 3SGTE build. Is there a way to upgrade the ECU. It has never been used and all sensors are brand new. Or will I have to with a completely new ECU? Thanks in advance for any advice you guys can provide.

Just want to be able to switch boost levels. Would want 3 boost settings but don't want to be able to use a tablet to achieve this.

I would as well. I am not savvy with wiring but I guess this is something I would have to get my tuner to do. However would I need a switch for each boost target? Or just 1 switch that can give me all 3 boost targets/tables? And does this mean I would have to hit this switch every time I want a different boost level?

I did obtain the unlock code but I have not installed the ecu yet. I have a few more items to get before that and dyno. I just want to be sure I can change it via a tablet with the Link software. Theoretically I would like 3 boost settings. Two for 93 pump, low/high then one for E85. Is that possible? Thanks for the response.

Hello everyone, just bought a Link G4+ plug in for my MR2 gen 2. I was wondering can boost be adjusted using a tablet or would I need an manual or electronic boost controller? Sorry for the noob question.
