  1. Will need a hand to get this info, I am an old broken down fitter with most of my link experience being years ago with a G1 and those little green boxes you spent hours pushing the buttons on...... Like Arny said, I'll be back!
  2. Greetings again, Am continuing to play and learn, I have now fitted a bosch two wire isc solenoid and having great success with it. Very happy with the results using closed loop with ignition idle control, except for a very irritating "hold-timer" feature. I can understand why it is there but it find it too aggressive, holds about 200rpm for about 3 seconds. How do I turn it off or tone it way down? I never had a problem with stalling when using idle ignition control only so am keen get a similar result with the closed loop setup. Cheers Chris
  3. That worked very well, rock steady 550rpm idle from cold to running temperature. Brilliant!! Requires 25 degrees of timing when cold moving to -5 degrees at operating temperature, is that a problem?
  4. Can a "target rpm" be set somewhere while using ignition idle control with no form of stepper/solenoid ISC being used?
  5. Sorted, your assistance is appreciated
  6. So can my ecu be upgraded?
  7. Not sure why but "idle ignition control" is not there?
  8. I have a Link G4, ECU serial no. 6854. Does this version provide ignition idle control and if not is it upgradeable? I have a 3UZ-FE fitted with a Eaton M122 supercharger and are struggling to get the idle speed down below 1500rpm and wish to experiment with ignition idle control but can't "find" it. I had no issue when using the standard throttle body but since fitting a FPV mono blade throttle body I can't get the idle down. It would appear to pass more air when closed even with the idle screw backed right out. I have swapped between the two throttle bodies and the high idle issue is definitely with the mono blade rather than an air leak elsewhere. The mono blade throttle body is new but when held up to the light you can see that the blade doesn't seal 100% so I wish to try ignition idle control. Cheers Jappa
  9. Celica is going great with zero issues, really enjoying the car Haven't been back on the dyno as I have almost finished another engine to replace the wrecker spec one. Forged pistons, good rods, kelford cams and springs, a lot of head work, meths/water injection, more boost and more revs and hoping for close to 600 whp. No word on the defender, as you are well aware these things can soak up a lot of time. And money. Cheers Jappa
  10. Now running 12lbs. with a smaller blower pulley and nothing has come out the side. Yet......
  11. No, wrecker spec engine is unopened. Everyone says the 4.3 rods are weak, haven't caused a problem yet.
  12. I have an eaton M122 supercharged 3uz-fe in my celica and am very happy with it. Unopened wrecker engine of unknown km's Link storm G4 10psi of boost Mechanical throttle body 550cc injectors Makes 304wkw @ 7300rpm and over 500nm of torque between 2250 and 4500rpm Cheers Jappa
