  1. IMO nothing can compare to what the stock ECU is capable of doing. Not MDC, Emtron, link or anything else that doesn't use the same level of inputs and calculations. The MAJOR drawback with the factory ECU is the ability to log (easily). It can be done using EvoScan, but it can't be done internally. This is the major bonus of the Motec or Emtron (or possibly even Link...i haven't had any experience here) is that you can accurately log the Center Diff control parameters just as easy as everything else in the engine ECU. Now don't get me wrong, you can certainly achieve great results with an aftermarket ACD solution, and the ability to find someone to tune them is probably easier too....but yeah I've been doing the factory ecu setup for over 10 years now and see no reason to change. The attachment is a simplified control diagram of the factory ECU.
  2. Just setup the Link ECU in connections. You don't need to have connected to the ECU, just have a "connection" setup. Mine works fine using the Lambda 1 channel in realdash. Mine is a similar setup where I'm using the analogue output from an AEM guage. It's calibrated within the ECU and set as lambda. But yeah, no issues over serial. I've also got a connection setup to a ELM dongle and I have lambda target via OBD.
  3. Hi all, Is someone able to tell me where I can find Bosch 0208158333 injector data? I've searched high and low and can't seem to find data specific to the 333. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  4. Well, I can honestly say that I'm a very happy boy at the moment. I dusted off my old Nexus 7 tablet (running Android 4.4.4) and got RealDash installed and hooked up to my G4+ with no issues at all. Getting the data I wanted (eg ethanol content) was where I started to come unstuck. Did all the reading through this thread, saw the issues with the data stream for lambda and didn't see anything with setting up Ethanol% output. Long story short, I found in PClink help what is supported over OBDII...I had always planned to connect via OBD as I used to use racechrono etc with my factory ECU. But RealDash over OBDII using my old cheap ELM327 has achieved an awesome result. The data has probably .5 second lag for the fasted refresh rate data, but for me, I'm not using this as "dash". I just wanted to monitor. So it's perfect. Anyway, I already have some AEM gauges for AFR, Boost and Oil Press, so I got drawing and created my background and dials for my "dash". I also threw in some "lights" for good luck. So what went from wanting a solution for ethanol%, i definitely got carried away.
  5. Hi Adam, Just thought i'd let you know that your solution has worked for me. I have made a couple of tweaks, but ultimately, I got the desired outcome. So a big thank you. This is what I went with in the end. I'll do some testing with timers and triggers, but yeah, it's all easy to change from here on in. Cheers Rob.
  6. Thank you Adam, I'll give that a go! Many thanks.
  7. Thanks Adam, I thought that might be the case. :( Any tricks for how I can setup injector drive 7 to accept the IC Spray output as well as a manual 100% duty cycle?
  8. Hi guys, can you check these settings for me please? I have an Evo9 G4+ w/Ethrottle and I was just doing some static testing of the IC spray function, and it won't cycle the pump on and off in AUTO. Everything else I've been able to get to mimic the factory setup, however it seems like the duty cycle setting of IC Spray isn't applying. What am I doing wrong? Cheers! I've attached a pic showing that the input/output conditions are being met, but the pump drives 100% of the time (just like holding down the manual switch) instead of 1.5 sec ON, 1.5 sec off. P.S. my normal setting would be a 6 sec period.
  9. Thank you boys! Appreciated. Many thanks.
  10. Hi Vaughan, The box it came in says Evo IX with Ethrottle. Part number on the box is EVO9+. You sure its a non Ethrottle version?
  11. Hi guys, Apologies if this is a really silly question...but what version is my G4+ Evo9 PNP ECU? Printed on the top PCB is "PCB V1.4". Also on the top PCB is a sticker with my serial number which has "PCB REV V1.5". Now to top it all off...on the bottom PCB near the map sensor vac line is printed "EVOLINK (IX) EVO9+ V1.8" If I was to load a base map from the PCLink basemaps directory, would i use "Mitsubishi EVO 9 PCB V1.6+ G4+ Xtreme Plugin" or "Mitsubishi EVO 9 G4+ Xtreme Plugin"? Cheers

Hi Adam, can you please confirm that pin 88 is DI 8 on the Evo9 PnP + Ethrottle too? Cheers
  13. Just jumping on board for further confirmation... Has auxiliary 12 been dropped completely from the EThrottle version? Aux12 is listed, but doesn't have a pin assignment. Thanks,
