  1. I never got the notification you guys replied.. I brought the car back on a trailer. Told the tuner. Its close to undrivable normally. So its up to him now. I'll send him your feedback. Hopefully he uses it. Thank you and merry christmas

    Cold start

Maybe you can help me out too @Warchild? since you drive a subaru also When starting up, the car starts pretty good. But at idling at cold startup, my complete garage smells like unburned fuel. Not surprising my AFR reads 10.0 flashing... so its running super rich. Its an 2005 STI with fully build engine. 2.5L FCD GSC272 cams pocket ported heads 1300cc bosch topfeed 340L/HR fuel pump, Running 98ron.
  3. Hi, im back at it again.... The engine died due ringland faillure ( Who could have guessed... ) Now i got myself a fully build engine. The engine builder tried his best to make me a engine break in map. However, I got back to the original problem again... The car is running like crap on idle. He tried by taking a look, but he doesnt know what is causing the problem.. but i know almost 100% is mapping related. There are more issues, but that can be fixed after break in... You helped me out great last time @Adamw , could you maybe take a look for me, or some one else who has time to look into it ? The 2 most annoying problem is on low speed to idle. For instance, when I run into a traffic jam, and need to move just a few car lenghts. The engine just start to live its own life, and stall after a few oscillations. I can manipulate this with my right foot. When im to late doing this, the engine will stall. Also when coming to a stop, and want to reverse and park the car slowly. 50% of the time it just stalls and then Im not able to restart it again. It needs to sit for a 10 minutes or so... I am getting the feeling it just floods the cilinders with fuel... Lambda / AFR is connected to the ECU this time. more sensors are to be connected in the future. Few important specs on the new engine are: Bosch 1300cc`s topfeed injectors 340Lph fuel pump with AN6 lines and FPR GSC 272 cams , with build headwork (incl pocket ported ) Added a log from me arriving from work, parking it in the garage and give the throttle a blip inside the garage for the log. Also added the tune. Thnx in advance log idle 1.llg map inrijden.pclr
  4. Oke. So i will need to find a new pedal stopper... I`ve looked everywhere in the shop... but cant find it. Hard to get 2nd hand in the Netherlands, only from the US. but shipping costs are retarded for a little piece of plastic. search continue`s
  5. Yes, but that was after the calibration. My thought was... If I put in the min and max value manually. The voltage should be evenly spread over the longer pedal movement ? So i can use the pedal more gentile... but for the money the part costs.. im going to pay a visit at the subaru dealer.
  6. Hi @plox thanks for reading and your reply. That was exactly what i was thinking since I know the car has a gas pedal "spacer"/"stop". i`ve removed it while painting the interior. but couldnt find it when putting all back together.. that's why I went with the APS and TPS calibration. but I do think the problem is related. ive run the G4+ and DCCD for multiple years. and only now it gives this problem. So if the DCCD module sees more voltage as it should. maybe thats why its giving the error... To give it a go... Can you maybe check for me what you APS main and sub values are when at 0 and at 100% ? then maybe I can change it manual. thnx in advance
  7. Hi guys, I`ve been building my 2005 Subaru Impreza STI for time attack purposes, so the car has been completely emptied and put back together after the roll cage has been welded in. now I`ve encountered a problem with my DCCD. but I cant really figure out if its a problem given by the ECU or a general failure from the DCCD system. because every time when I turn off the car, the fault resets itself and cant get a read out on the DCCD system or ECU... so the problem is this: everything is all oke and running just perfect and fine. but when we get at the "racetrack"... and have a go at it. after 10 second WOT, The DCCD goes into open center diff mode. and keeps blinking on the dash. as said before, when I turn off the engine and restart its all back to normal. and then when given the 10 sec WOT it happens again.. Now I `ve made short log of it. can you maybe tell me if something is wrong with my settings somewhere ? I did remove the acc. pedal spacer. but I did the calibration of the APS and TPS.. without success.. if maybe you guys can have a quick look ? Log and tune in the attachments. thank you in advance ! 8. Adam Oke, loaded up the V1.1. Car runs almost good. After the start up the car died after a couple of seconds. After the restart it is fine. only a really light change of rpm. but amost not noticable. Idle v1.1 died at cold start.llg
  9. Oke ! had some time to do some driving and logging. So in quick, - The car at cold start is still having some issue`s. - Warm idle is perfect. With and without A/C. - When driving with A/C on it looks like its being held back when light on the throttle. (i dont know if it is related). Car runs good, from 0, the car accelerates real smooth. so thank you Adam for that maybe you can take a look at the cold start ? 10. Oke, I updated the firmware. Loaded the file. When i first started the car it had a bit of an issue idling. But when I touched the gas pedal it was gone and havent returned ever since ( but didnt start the car cold again). The car is idling normal now, only I forgot to test it with A/C on I will make a log for it next time. Thanks again Adam !
  11. Thanks Adam ! I will load it up, try it out and come back to you !
  12. oke, i think this should be the right file. This one was from earlier, before i tried the options of the other topic. Backup 19-8 idle.pclr
  13. How can i send this ? Always thought, when logging you could see everything
  14. Hi guys ! I would really like so help over here. Since a while back my car has issues being on idle. It just keeps oscilating on engine RPM`s. without A/C on and even worse when A/C is on. when driving the car is running smooth with no problems at all. I already did some reseach here on the forum, had a topic with similar problems. tried the settings on the ECU provided on that topic, but it didnt seem to help. might even got a little worse, I already checked out the obvious places for a vacuum leak but didnt find any I made 2 logs, 1 without AC and 1 with AC. can you guys take a look and maybe help me out ? idle oscilating no AC.llg idle oscilating WITH AC.llg
  15. Adam, thanks for your reply. I will try and make log somewhere today.
