  1. Hi guys, im starting to get my map setup with all the basic settings needed, but im a bit stuck on some of the values needed for the coil pack and injectors. The engine is a 2ltr 4 cylinder Ford Zetec with a turbo The injectors im running are DEKA 630cc with a 380kPa regulator. Ive put these initial settings in but I had to guess the dead times for 43psi from the table listed here (dead time table) i also had to work out the time for 7volts. Does this look right? Also im not sure what i should put as the min effective pulse width as im guessing that will be impacted by the base fuel pressure? Lastly does anyone know where I can get the settings to setup this coil pack. I can not see anything clearly listed on the net. BOSCH 0 986 221 048 Thanks in advance Trev
  2. Thanks essb00, hopefully that will sort it. I thought it should have been "transmit user stream 1" as that was the name of the stream in the left list next to the drop down list. Thanks again Trev
  3. Hi all, just wondering if someone could confirm that i have correctly or spot a issue with how i have configured the low side outputs on the ecu module. Ive got the digital and analogue inputs working fine its just the outputs i cant get to play ball. Ive got the can setup as follows Ive then linked two of the outputs up one to traction control and one to battery (just so the light comes on if the battery is low) This is how i configured the battery output. To test the output I changed the SW cond 1 to ">=" to attempt to trigger the output after which "CAN Aux 2 - Battery LED" changed from Inactive to Active. Although the led does not light. The led's anode goes through a current limiting resistor and to switched 12v, and the cathode goes into the low side driver of the can module. Can someone confirm I have set this up correctly please before I strip the dash apart in case its a simple config issue. Many thanks Trev
  4. Thanks loads Adam for the quick reply. Trev
  5. Hi just a quick confirmation. Ive got a G4X Fury in my car and have speedhut Speedo and Tacho. Im intending to wire them into the spare Ignition outputs i have. The speed hut manual says both the speedo and tacho can be wired the same way with a wire from the ecu with a pullup resistor to 12v. Is this ok to do with the ignition drive? Many thanks
  6. Thanks Adam, I will look to have 4 sensors. Trev
  7. Hi I have a link fury, I'm building up a rwd car and wanted to ask about the traction control sensors before I install the loom I'm building. I was planning to run one cherry red sensor on each front wheel and then one on the propshaft for the rear wheels. Would this be ok? I'm asking because I saw a recent post on fb saying its bad and better to run a sensor on each rear wheel. Many thanks Trev
  8. That's fantastic thank you loads for that Adam. Trev
  9. Hi has anybody got any details on how to setup the Ecumaster can switch board v3 with a g4x ecu? I've had a search and could not find anything. I'm wanting to get both the inputs and outputs working. I'm going to fit my boost control and traction control multiposition switchs on two of the boards analogue inputs and a few status leds to the outputs of it. I've got a g4x fury and would like to check I can get the module working on the bench before I wire it in. Many thanks Trev
  10. I've used belden screened cable you can get it from other places (the pic shows 3 core but its only 2 core) ou may already know but incase, only ground the screen at one end only. https://uk.farnell.com/belden/4500fe-00100/cable-sec-shld-grey-3-3mm-100m/dp/1423259 Trev
  11. Awsome thank you for confirming that Adam
  12. Hi all, just before I make a mistake can I check something. On my loom I'm running the following sensors that have a ground. Crank (2 wire), cam (2wire), TPS, Map, air, coolent, fuel pressure, oil pressure, flex fuel sensor, two speed hall sensors (front wheel and rear axle) Should all these go to sensor ground even though some are 5v 12v or internal pullup powered? Many thanks

    Fury ecu 3d model

hi all, I've recently received my fury g4x but would like to make a different mount for it. Is there a 3d model that I would be aloud to have, so i can model the new bracket in solidworks? Many thanks Trev
  14. Thanks Adamw, really looking forward to receiving my new ecu Trev
  15. Awesome thanks Mapper, I've just placed my order. Even if I can't do the mil light along as I can do the rest it will make the wiring easier. Trev

    Can switch module

hi just a quick question before I order my new fury ecu, can I use the ecu master can switch module for the following: clutch switch, malfunction indicator light, traction control (3 pos rotery) and boost control (3 pos rotery) and have the ecu use them via can. Sorry for such a basic question but wanted to check before I wasted money. Thanks Trev

    Fury or thunder X

Can't wait for the fury x, finally get on with my wiring loom and my arduino digital dash project.
  18. Hi Adam, sorry misread your message. I'll look to get on with that. I'm still waiting for my ecu arrive. Think it's being delayed with what's going on, but it will be worth the wait. Thanks again Trev
  19. Hi Adam, thanks for the reply and the kind offer. It's a Ford Zetec engine, with a GT2860RS turbo. The injectors are Siemens Deka 630cc Injectors. It will be running Crank sensor (36-1 trigger), Cam sensor (cam has 2 lobes), 4 bar map sensor, boost control solenoid, idle control solenoid. I think that's everything, but if I've missed anything just let me know. Thanks again Trev
  20. Hi, does anyone have a base map for a focus rs mk1 or zetec turbo? The ecu is a fury. Thanks
  21. Hello, I'm looking at getting a link fury, but I'm wondering if there is a base map to atleast get the car started for this ecu? I know it will still need mapping properly but I would atleast like to know it runs before I take it for mapping. Thanks in advance
