  1. I did a post on hete a while back. The pin the link wires to is a ac cancel ssignal and ultimately has now direct control over the compressor clutch. This means the delays ypu can program for idle up before the clutch engages don't work properly.
  2. The power steering pump may just stay the way it is as all of its control Is done through its own built in ecu but is nice to have the option. I'm trying to stay away from can keypads as I'm wanting the interior to look as original as possible but there is options to do what I want( although will require a bit more work to setup from me) Thanks again for answering so quickly.
  3. As I've got a large rewiring project ahead of me I'm considering adding a Razor as a way of doing away with alot of the factory relays and fuses but I need a few things clarifying I'm installing an electro hydraulic power steering pump which runs a 50amp fuse. I'm assuming this is probably rated so high to cope with the inrush. However, if it turned out I needed more than the 25amp of the high current outputs can they be doubled up like the smaller outputs? I'll be coupling this with a plug and play g4x. Can you assign outputs in the g4x to directly switch items on the Razor? For example assign the fuel pump, rad fan or in my above example power steering pump directly to items wired to the Razor? From what I can tell the Razor has combined inputs/outputs meaning if you're using something as an input it can be used as an output. Can something like an ecumaster can expansion board be used to save the Razor's pins to be saved as outputs? I'm thinking if I used one to run the lighting circuits I would need to run the steering wheel stalks either into the ecu as DI/analogue inputs or into a can module with the lights being ran from the Razor. Thanks for everyone's input.
  4. This was mine before https://drive.google.com/file/d/19xbvhu2Nva3RLXlGJVqKxUnGojLILTYX/view?usp=drivesdk And after https://drive.google.com/file/d/19ztNnvJ4vzLGoT--jtFkb4BQX2R-E2QB/view?usp=drivesdk Fuel pulsation damper
  5. I had something very similar thing on a 3sgte Celica GT4 after fitting a top feed fuel rail and 1000cc injectors. There was something like a 150rpm window that required a massive increase in fuel. either side of this point was absolutely fine. Here is the thread on HPA's forum. I tried to find the screenshots but they were on an old laptop so unless you're a paid up member you can't download them. Your table looks alot like mine though https://www.hpacademy.com/forum/general-tuning-discussion/show/strange-ve-numbers-around-motorway-cruise#post44829#post44829
  6. Just a bit of an update. Sent the ecu off and has been turned round in less than a week. Couldn't be happier with the service and Anthony was more than happy to go through what I was wanting a discuss the best options. Well done Link
  7. Hi, I've ready previously that the plugin ecu for the Celica GT4 (ST205) has additional functionality that just isn't wired to the ecu pins. Can someone confirm what additional items can be added and what the cost would be? I'm looking to add a Bosch DBW throttle body, but want to make sure it will run before I part with my money.
  8. Yes it's definitely not a 1.1 ratio. from my initial tests a 30% blend of Methanol to petrol is showing around 50% on the content sensor. This is probably the most I would like to run anyway and I'd probably aim for closer to 20 - 25% just to give me a little head room. I've done a quick blend table I'm assuming if I tune for this known value of 30% Methanol (50% on the content sensor) this should hopefully work well? https://drive.google.com/file/d/1rQZCe_uQ-a6aGCASNNootr3uLrKtB_Qq/view?usp=sharing Can you also confirm these are the setting I should use or will I have to fudge these numbers due to the fact I'm not using 100% Methanol? Am I better of making a additional fuel table? https://drive.google.com/file/d/175J1OYpJAj8ub2-_wiofV7QEfBmC9r0A/view?usp=sharing
  9. Hi could someone help me out setting this up. As E85 is ridiculously expensive here in the UK a lot of people a using a Methanol petrol blend to get similar results. I've confirmed that when adding percentages of Methanol the "ethanol %" does change but I would like to know how I would set this up using the link. I'm presuming "multi fuel blend" but not sure what settings to input for say a 20% blend of Methanol with petrol (which in the UK would have around a 5-10% of ethanol mixed in the pump) Any help would be appreciated and I realise that the blend would need to be tuned for specifically and I couldn't just switch to E85 but as mentioned before it's not really an option here due to the cost. (200 litres = £650+)
  10. Thanks for everyone's input I've done a bit of digging and realised that the speed sensor from the gearbox doesn't actually feed directly into the ecu, it goes through the gauge cluster on the dash first (similar to how the MRS' pump is fed through from the abs unit through the gauge cluster). Can you tell me, does DI3 input on the link 205PnP set up for speed see 5v or 12v into it? Is it possible to tap into this wire for the VSS for the pump? and not use another output? https://www.dropbox.com/s/pmhu7ljzadl5aeo/VSS.png?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/qm9hmmppupcdzwk/VSS2.png?dl=0
  11. So are you just pwm controlling the high current 12v feed to the pump
  12. Thanks for the reply. It's all going into another toyota (celica 205, probably should have mentioned that). What does the stock speedo drive output into the link for vss? I'm pretty sure it's the same unit in the mr2's if you have the E153 gearbox.
  13. Hi, I'm looking to intergrate the electric power steering pump from a mark 3 MR2. Can the Link G4x replicate the speed signal as attached to make the pump vary according to vehicle speed? https://www.dropbox.com/s/7j817dgzk0dxgpu/Screen Shot 2022-05-08 at 18.23.07.png?dl=0

    R8 Coil wiring

    It's a G4X Pnp on a 3sgte engine

    R8 Coil wiring

I'm sorry for dragging up an old thread but I'm actually at the point of wiring these in. The original wiring for the injectors and coil/igniter is fed from one 30A fuse. will this be sufficient to run both the r8coils & injectors?
  16. That looks like what I've got. When testing a PWM output is there a way to adjust the DC on test? all I can see is Hz Is there anyway of testing the output to the pump to check the speed control is working? Will there be a change in voltage or current? i'm thinking up plugging a fan in temporarily to check it's actually doing as it should https://www.dropbox.com/s/5oie0nori6d7swj/Screenshot 2021-04-27 at 05.56.17.png?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/oyqa353g4b56u5o/Screenshot 2021-04-27 at 05.54.33.png?dl=0
  17. I'm wanting to set up fuel pump pwm control using a Subaru speed control module. I've double and triple checked all the wiring and verified the PWM signal coming from the link but nothing I seem to do makes any noticable difference to the speed of the pump, it just seems to run flat out all the time regardless of the hz setting, DC setting whether i set it to Hi/low nothing. I've tried it on open loop pwm and the three speed subaru specific setting
  18. I can vouch or the updates to the G4X. I was having real issues with conectivity on my GT Four (gen3 3SGTE) when I first got it. I would be luckiy to get 2 0r 3 minutes without disconnecting before. Now I can do an 1+ hour PC log without a single disconnect. Downloading ECU logs is still a chore though. It will just randomly cancel the download at any point and you'll only get a portion of the log. It can take up to 20 tries before I can download an entire 10mb log.
  19. The rev3 MR2 is the same engine setup as the 205 GTfour. easiest way to check is if yours uses the AFM in the airbox or not. Post a pick up of the engine bay and I should be able to tell for definate
  20. Yeah I tried switching from 1k to 10k and the values are the same so the penny dropped.
  21. Thanks, I wasn't sure if I had to add the value of the pull up to those on the table
  22. I've just installed and oil temp sensor and the calibration sheet for it shows temp vs resistance in ohms. How will these values be affected with the ecu internal pull up resistor? Or can I simply turn it off and the use the resistance of the sensor itself? https://www.dropbox.com/s/6ilhw9v6n3uf6ty/Screenshot 2021-03-11 at 10.31.11.png?dl=0
  23. The 205 base map used to be out by 360 degrees. They've changed it now but if you it means if you'd originally corrected it for being 360 out and then upgraded the firmware it could potentially be out 360 again and would need moving back
  24. I'm having a very similar problem on the G4X although the error message that comes up is different
