  1. So an 2004 Sti engine would be sufficient? I could I use ej20g adjustable gears if deleting AVCs? I purchased 292 Kelford cams which recommends not using AVCs which I kind felt like would make things a bit easier
  2. I’m really wondering how the cam sensor would work with the cam sensor being on the cam gear itself versus cam like it is on a AVCs engine. It’s a 2 wire Vs 3 wire setup. Could I use the signal wire off the original cam sensor and just wire a power and ground to it?
  3. I have the v1-2 link ecu was wondering if AVCs operation could be achieved with this ecu running and v1-2 setup, I wanted to run ej25 single AVCs heads with this ecu and the car is wired for the v1-2 wrx/sti
  4. The expansion loom isn't on a different 5v circuit? the TPS is wired on the factory harness and the aftermarket IAT is on the expansion loom as well as the AFR gauge but that's only wired to give signal to the ECU to pick up AFR's. I attached the tune that is on my ECU. matt shue tune.pclx
  5. the main problem with that is they neither share the same ground or 5v supply cause my iat is wired with the expansion loom i will have to a pc log next time the issue occurs, I know it has been a intermit code that keeps coming back and the only fix im seeing is wiring which i have check is fine or the sensor itself, so im going to try to replace the sensor and see if the code doesn't come back again. It was intermit coming on prior to the issue I was having that day and he couldn't find any calibration values for the factory sensor and told me it would prolly be best if I got the link knock sensor and wired it to the expansion loom and did it that way, I was trying to get the knock system operational myself before I go back to the tuner again, I wasn't planning on going back until I went e-85 with a bigger turbo. I currently have the link g4x for the v1-2 wrX ECU. He was also having issues finding the coolant temp calibration for the factory sensor for the ecu when it was on the dyno but he said he got that figured out
  6. i have a code for iat sensor as of right now and i think that may have been the issue the sensor was giving erratic readings and threw the computer off until i unplugged it. I was wondering if the aem sensor for iat has the same calibration values? i dont really wanna spend $100 for another link sensor and it hasnt lasted that long. I was also wondering if I can get the factory knock sensor to work on the link ecu? I remember my tuner saying the factory knock sensor isn't working on the ecu and I know it was on my previous computer I had installed because my cel would flash with engine knock detected. i replaced the sensor and its still isn't getting any input
  7. i just unplugged the ecu and plugged it back in and for some reason that fixed my issue, which makes even less sense
  8. i havent had any issues with it until i left the gas station after fueling up
  9. The iat is wired directly into the ecu with the expansion loom
  10. I don’t understand why both my iat and tps would doing it
  11. both my iat and my throttle position is going nuts and wont read a steading reading flickering back and forth and giving me truly erratic readings and making my car run abnormal and having a hard start condition and running issue
  12. I got the Aem x series and selected x series calibration it works now just waiting on the tune to make sure it’s showing the same values on the gauge and the ecu, I at least wanted it working on the ecu to properly tune the car
  13. I bought a new gauge off amazon 30-3000 xseries gauge hopefully I have better results with that gauge than this one
  14. This is where my dial is set on my gauge
  15. I’m gonna hook it up tomorrow and see what it says on the computer but it is the 30-4110 gauge What should the dial switch be set at one the back of the gauge? I bought it off eBay advertised as new and it came sealed but who knows if it was actually messed with
