  1. Thanks for sharing this Adam. Out of curiosity, why is the V11 STi timing map above only tuned for boost? Does this essentially mean in vacuum it runs the timing in the 0kpa line, or are there two maps (one boost, one vacuum)? Or am I reading this wrong, and because they're using MAP as the Y axis, you need to adjust for atmospheric (14.5psi) to get comparable MGP map?
  2. See attached trigger scope files. Thanks Adam TriggerScopeLog.llgx.llgx TriggerScopeLog.llgx
  3. Thanks Adam - I'll try that later today. To confirm, this is how you do a trigger scope? https://1drv.ms/v/s!AiYbYlZQuRHPmieMTkwQDCXEb2LY
  4. I appear to be getting some weird readings from my VSS when I review the log. I know the VSS in my MY00 WRX is wired to both the ECU and dash, and the dash doesn't appear to fluctuate at all (from what I can tell), but when I look at the log this arvo from a drive there are all of these "blips" in the VSS log (see attached). Has anyone else seen this? Is there a "smoothing" setting or similar on the Link, or do you think it is interference? PC Datalog - 2020-09-20 2;38;11 pm.llgx
  5. Thanks Adam, I've uploaded my tune and log is at this link (due to file size - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bZVo1yEHcwpsUJ0b2d8iK_5zUeDNuj3v/view?usp=sharing). The engine is a stock MY00 WRX engine, as I wanted to learn how to tune the ECU before putting the racecar motor in it that I'm building. I assume the VE numbers are quite low as its a stock engine with small turbo / TMIC, but appreciate any insight you have. It looks like in the log I managed to get some "noise" on the knock sensor, but only small amounts. I might have to play with the gain, as I'd read on here that you would expect up to 4-500 under known non-knock conditions. Also, cheers for the heads up on the default 768 layout, thats a huge help. 29Aug20 - Modelled single fuel (MY00 GC8).pclx
  6. I'd be curious to know this as well - as I'm struggling to setup my G4X knock control on my V5-6 WRX. Also, does it matter the "Knk internal" option no longer available on the G4X, whereas it appears to have been on the old G4+? Knock setup options now are only i) ignition, ii) fuel, or iii) ignition and fuel. I only ask as in the runtime values screen on my G4X I don't have "Knock" as a separate tab in this, and can't see knock by cylinder in any of the logging parameters, where as based on my searching it appeared to be available on the old G4+?
  7. Hi Anthony, thanks for this, you were smack bang on the money. All sorted.
  8. Hi All, I've just recieved and installed my G4X for my MY00 WRX this weekend (WRX6X ECU), and got the car started and warmed up on the base tune (happy days). I'm running Firmware ver 6.17.8. Weirdly "Engine Fan 3" (triggering through Aux Ignition #4) appears to have its polarity reversed. When I turn the car to ignition and when the motor is idling, "Engine Fan 3" is on (despite none of the criteria being hit (i.e. the engine is stone cold)). If I manually switch "Aux Ignition #4 Test" to "ON", the fan switches off, which is why I say the polarity appears to be out. My question is, is there a way I can change this within the Link, or does it require a re-wire of the fan connector itself? Thanks in advance Chris
  9. Hi Simon Kribstock, did you end up finding the solution to this? I've got a WRX6X G4X in my MY00 WRX, and am experiencing the exact same issue as you. I can get the car started, and it warms up fine with closed loop idle on once the Idle Base Position Table is set, but when I turn the car off (Stepper reset it turned to "Key-off"), I have to go through and amend the Idle Base Position Table again. Any ideas? How did you get yours fixed?
