Pretty much any of the common ones will work. Have a play around in the software for the brands on your short list to make sure you are comfortable with it. Some may be considered more intuitive than others.
Im happy to help with any CAN set up as there is generally not much needed between ECU and PDM. In terms of low cost options the ECU Matser one or Morristech P30 or P14 are good value and work well. There is another newish English brand "Hardwire" that is less frills and seems to be getting popular but I havent personally used one yet.
