    Sweet! Thanks for the info

Yeah I had a look for the spartan 3 and saw that they were out of stock also. Think I will give the AEM X a go. There is no need for the stock o2 sensor correct? Thanks

Awesome thanks for that. The AEM X series, do they connect to the CAN H and CAN L or do they use a AN volt? New to setting all this up so learning as I go.

Has anyone had experience using a innovate LC-2 controller with their atom g4x? What are your thoughts on it? Deciding to go with one of those or to just get the can lambda controller
  5. Sorted. Swapped tacho with FP on aux output and put FP on ign output, works with no pullup.

    g4x high voltage tacho

Sorted. Moved to aux 3 and moved FP to ignition 4. Tacho works with no pull up needed. Just need to calibrate as doesn't read correctly Thanks for the help

    g4x high voltage tacho

Is it fine to keep running it from the ign output? All other aux outputs are in use Thanks for the help

    g4x high voltage tacho

Thanks for the reply Adam. I have replaced the 46k resistor in the back of the tacho to a 1k, which made no difference. I can get it to work how it is at the moment, (tach output from ignition output 4 to tacho signal wire, also spliced into that tacho wire is a relay coil attached to pin 85, and a 12v ignition switched feed to the pin 86. It also works if I removed the relay and added a resistor from 1k upto 67k. Does that sound correct?
  9. After some advice with the atom g4x and high voltage tacho. The tacho is the factory one in a Suzuki Vitara, running a 20v4age engine, atom g4x ecu, cop setup. I've got the tacho running off of the ignition #4 output. Initially I removed the resistor in the tacho (46k) and swapped this for a 1k resistor. I then taped the ecu aux output into the factory tacho signal wire (used to come from the ignitor). The tacho wouldn't read. After a lot of trial and error I've got the tacho to work, but hoping to get some opinions if this is correct. Currently, the ecu output is taped into the tacho signal wire under the dash, also on that same tacho wire is now a relay coil, the tacho wire is connected to pin 85, and a 12v ignition feed is connected to the 85pin (coming from the old ignitor 12v supply). This makes the tacho work. Another way that works is by removing that relay and just plugging the factory ignitor back in (ignitor is doing nothing anymore). I would have thought that the ECU signal alone, taped into the tacho signal wire, with the resistor changed inside the tacho would be enough? Or does it also need that 12v feed supplied on the same wire? Wouldn't this back feed to the ecu? Hopefully that makes sense. Thanks
  10. Hey Shushpants. Could not get the IGF idea to work. I've ended up going to waste spark, freeing up 2 aux outputs so I can run a C.E.L and tacho on the 2 outputs. Having trouble with the tacho still. I've changed the resistor from a 46k to a 1k on the board for now to test it. Tacho does not work wired to the aux output alone, however it does work if I add another resistor, anywhere from 1k-56k in the loom on a 12v switched supply and into the tacho feed wire, also works if I simply add a relay instead of that resistor. I also tried plugging the factory ignitor back in and this makes the tacho sweep work fine also? Currently: ECU aux output spliced into tacho wire--no go ECU aux output spliced into tacho wire + relay pin 86 + 12v switched to 85 pin--works. Or instead of a relay just plug the factory ignitor back in works also
  11. I'll let you know how I go with the IGF signal idea, I'll try and join all 4 together and tap into the original tacho wire. I've changed the resistor in the tacho and it reads (taped into one cop wire) but it's doing something similar as to what happened to you Sushpants. I would like to keep all 4 cop individual if I can so I will try that way and see what happens. (This is a Suzuki tacho but it's similar setup to the Toyota by the looks of it)

    4age20v tacho cop

Hi Does anyone know if it is possible to get the tacho working on a g4x with all aux outputs already in use? aux 1 and 2 are used for the ISC, aux 3 for the fuel pump and aux 4 is for the VVT solenoid. Thanks
  13. I see in you're video that you used aux output 3 for the tach signal? What did you do with the fuel pump signal that was originally there? I've currently got aux 1 and 2 as ISC, aux 3 for the fuel pump and aux 4 for the VVT. I've got one of the COP wires spliced at the moment so I'm going to try change the resistor in the tacho but not 100% sure where to move the signal to if that fails. Thanks
  14. Sushpants where did you wire the tacho to on the ECU? I've got the same setup, link g4x, cop. There's not auxiliary output for the tacho. Do you just tap into one of the signals for the COP? Thanks
