    Can lambda input

its just the base tune from the Link Folder Mitsubishi EVO 4-6 PCB V1.5+ G4X Xtreme Plugin.pclx
  2. Hey helpful tech gurus. Ive got a LinkG4x on my long rod 2.4l 4g63/64 engine and ive tried a number of different latency times, including a scaling i got off a log i did, but every time i change the latency "ms" @ "voltage" it always has a hard time starting, and it runs very rich, until it finally throws an error saying "fuel calculation clamped at its minimum value" then stalls, I can load my short log for you guys but you wont be able to see my AFR as i cant seem to get the CAN setup working as of yet. here are some screen shots for you, Im running FIC BlueMax 1450cc High Z injectors, they are listed specifically for an evolution 4-9. You can also see my error messages in my screen shots.

    Can lambda input

Hi again, Ive followed the help file and loaded the template like suggested but it still isnt reading my CAN sensor. Im a little lost. every time i open the can setup option i have to re select all the setting, even after i press "apply" and "F4" if i go open it up again its empty.

    IAT reads -40

It is still reading fairly high voltage even when paperclipped to ground, however the IAT no longer reads -40 it now reads 12 degrees, which is what my coolant temp sensor is also reading, so im assuming that as long as they both read similarly when cold that the iat must be reading correctly. or very close to.

    IAT reads -40

I will try that paper clip trick you suggested. see if that changes the out come of the test. On a completely unrelated topic while i have you here, do you know where i can find Fuel Injector Clinc 1450cc latency times @ X voltages? I input the latency times from the 1650cc set as those were the only ones i could find. Im hoping they are close enough to at least keep the car running without making it super rich.

    IAT reads -40

I must of been looking at it incorrectly, cause the AN T it is Red with a blue stripe, Ground is Black, after testing to be sure. are those Voltages okay then? or is there something off with them? you had mentioned that if grounded it should read 0. It only went down to 2.89 volts. I just grounded it to the strut bolts i didnt ground it to the MAF ground however. I wouldnt of thought that would make a difference however. Want to thank you again for your help.

    IAT reads -40

Hey Adam, I tried touching the wires together, what should be AN Temp 2, to the ground on the MAF harness, and nothing changed. The voltages and readings all stayed the same, I can try running the ANT2 to a chassis ground, and see if that makes a difference. Alright so the harness diagram for the 8 in the manual is different then on the 4. instead of ANT2 being pin 6, its pin 2 on the MAF plug, when i grounded pin 2 the ANT2 voltage went from 4.99 to 2.89 volts. im assuming there is still something going on? as you said it should read 0. Thoughts? When I grounded Pin 6, nothing happened. I suppose i could be looking at the MAF plug incorrectly, I was just going off the image in the manual.

    IAT reads -40

Hey guys, I have a 96 Lancer evolution, that im using my G4x on, I wired my Delphi IAT sensor into the MAF plug via AN Temp 2 as per the instruction manual. However I kept getting error codes saying "AN TEMP VOLT HIGH" so I took a look and it was sitting at 4.95-4.98 volts, So i upped the CEL trigger values to 5v, I dont get a CEL now anymore but the ecu is seeing -40 all the time, I thought maybe i ran the wires backwards so i swapped them and nothing changed still -40 still same voltage. Its making my start ups really tough, which they already are more difficult as the engine is brand new hasnt even seen 5 minutes of run time yet, its only run for about 2 minutes. EDIT: the actual temp in my garage is maybe 2 degrees some where around there, nothing even close to -40 Its a brand new IAT sensor as well just got it off amazon, has yet to actually get used.

Thanks Adam, I'll check it out, if i have any further questions, i'll let you know, I appreciate the help.

    Can lambda input

Hey guys, I have a link G4X for my 4g63t, I got the NZEFI Link G4+ / G4X Plug-in ECU to CAN / Dash Cable, wired and pinned it via the instructions, I have an AEM X series wideband, I am using the AMNET + and - to the can L and H cables. I have the wideband power and ground wired through the Link plug, when I power on the car, (not start) the wideband turns on and reads the sensor. So im assuming that i pinned it properly. I went to CAN setup in the ecu controls tab and tried to "find" my wideband but every time i get it to search it finds nothing. Ive tried "user defined" and ive tried setting it to 250 or 500, so far nothing. Im very novice with setting this up and thus far have just been following the user setup manual, and the "Help" tab. If anyone could offer any more information id greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
