  1. Yes MegaLogViewer works. It has a couple of useful functions and features. I bought is a fews ago and it's worth it and has served me well. MoTec does not allow import of CSV files, although you can export as CSV or MatLab file and do whatever you want with it. IMO general expressions and functions should be included in the Link log viewer. I usually tinker a lot and implement various idea, and having the possibility to manipulate the data and extract information automatically after I load a log is really important. Main reason why I still use MegaLog viewer for viewing all logs that are in CSV format.
  2. Yeah no I was thinking more of data and log analysis part of things. I think I wasn't clear in the first post, my bad. For sure the ECU can't do the differential equations in realtime. Afterall that usually needs something in the realm of an FPGA and such if I was to running some complex control algorithm or some other differential equation that needs updating every timestep. Is the math channels for the log viewer already incorporated and I don't know where it is?
  3. I have dealt a lot with MoTec i2 software as well as McLaren Atlas software for race applications and what really made me love them was the freedom their math channel editor gave me. The functions list such as derivative, integral, filters and trigonometry and many more really made it robust and versatile to tackle any kind of equation you have in your head. The typing in of equations and expressions also felt more natural as you use the actual variable name instead of 'a,b,c..' I really hope Link can move towards that type of layout instead of the block layout which limits the amount of constants and variables you can use, as well as the type of functions available in the library to manipulate those variables. Cheers
  4. PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) is a form of output from the ECU. I think what you mean is just the pulses themselves that are measured by a hall effect sensor? Its weird that you would have a hall sensor as a gear position sensor. It would usually be used for gear speed instead I get it now!
  5. For RPM limit, after you enable the GP RPM Limit table, right-click the table and select 'Axis Setup', you then select DI X (status), x being your pin number. Set the other axis to 'none'. After that you can now set your limits,
  6. Check your spark plugs. You may have drenched them in fuel after the master fuel change.
  7. You will have to test those settings as is and see how it feels. It really depends on how you drive as shift times vary from driver to driver.
  8. Yes, Speed Lockout seems to be the reason based on your logs. Speed source has not been defined in the "Chassis and body > Speed Sources > Setup" section.
  9. Well, the way I do it is to get the baseline noise level of the engine with relatively low ignition values and 0% WGDC . Then populate the knock threshold with values 1.3 times greater than the normal noise level.
  10. I'm leaning more towards detonation being the primary cause of the failure. As @remski2 pointed out, knock control was active but not setup completely. 8* of timing at 4500rpm and 1.9bar of boost is too much for the 4g63 that early on imo. The level of noise picked up by the knock sensor also indicates that.
  11. On my 4g63 I am at 4* at peak torque. Running an FP Black at 34psi. 93octane with 30% Toluene added. I don't know if 4g64 require different timing values or not.
  12. Is it possible to use the 'Link G4X MR2Link V1 TST185' for the 4age silvertop? I have seen that they use the same connectors and they share a couple of pins. e.g. power, ground, injectors etc. Or do I just get a wire-in ecu and rewire the harness.
  13. From taking a quick peak I can see that your ECT, IAT and Lambda sensors are not calibrated. So I am guessing that the cranking enrichment adds a ton of fuel due to the 0oC error value in the ECT. I think that your cylinders are getting washed with too much fuel.
  14. From the log the ECU is commanding 90% DC. Are the boost pipes plumbed to the correct ports on the MAC?

    GP RPM Limits

Hi, I there a reason why your Gear Shift Control settings are locked? Because I would assume that's how you would have set-up your flat foot shifting instead of using an GP rpm limit table.

Did you check timing with a timing light?
